Christine Willmore is Vice President of Marketing at Green Cross Insurance LC (“GCI”). Christine is a member of the executive team which organized and launched GCI under the premise that everyone deserves to feel better about their health insurance. She worked directly with Rite Aid Corporation to place about 2000 licensed insurance agents in Rite Aid stores nationwide to educate and enroll the public in insurance products offered through the Affordable Care Act.
Prior to working with GCI, Christine has worked in the marketing industry as a national media consultant and public relations specialist for brands that include: Subway; Jiffy Lube; Kroger; Simmons Media; The Credit Union National Association. Over the last 20 years she has been hired by companies to build marketing and media specific departments. Her focus is on creating sales driving marketing plans and promotions that build and support brands and the businesses’ bottom line.
Christine has worked extensively in the non-profit and not for profit sectors and has bridged gaps between “for profit” companies and non-profit organizations. Her expertise lies in creating programs that provide capital and man power to charitable organizations that include: Boys and Girls Clubs; Children’s Miracle Network; Healing Hands for Haitti; In Our Own Quiet Way Kenya Water Retention Project; The Paul Cardall Family Foundation; and The Arthritis Foundation.
Christine co founded the program “Warm the Souls of Kids”. This effort provided new Nike shoes wrapped and delivered by “Santa” to under privileged kids. The program donated over $1 million in new shoes to needy children. Warm the Souls was so successful that it received national recognition by Boys and Girls Clubs of America and launched similar programs nationwide.
As a lobbyist and spokesperson, Christine worked extensively for Credit Unions to protect “not for profit” tax exempt status. Her efforts included television and radio campaigns that received national media awards.
Christine has been a presenter for the Radio Broadcasters Association, Subway, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Comcast and local FOX and NBC affiliates. She was interviewed on NBC’s Today Show as an expert on juggling home and office utilizing hand held technology.
Christine is thrilled to be building an insurance agency because it is her “family” business. Her father, two brothers, sister and husband all work in the business and she looks forward to bringing her experience to GCI during the biggest disruptive time period known to the Insurance Industry.
